Have you installed an application but cannot see any programmes? That does not necessarily mean installation has failed. An IPTV player and a content subscription perform different jobs. Understanding the difference helps you ask the right questions and avoid paying for something you do not need.
The player displays programmes
The player is the application installed on your television, streaming box or phone. It presents and plays compatible access details. Installing it does not automatically supply channels, films or series.
Some players offer a trial period or require a paid licence. Their publishers set the conditions, and those conditions can change. Check the application’s full name, its publisher, the licence duration and the device covered. Two applications with similar names may be different products with different support arrangements.
Before following a tutorial, check that the screenshots match your application. Instructions intended for another publisher or an older version can send you to settings that do not exist on your device.
The subscription provides access to the service
A subscription concerns the access provided for a defined duration and use. Before paying, ask which content is available, which device is covered, whether the offer applies in your country of use and how many connections are permitted. Also ask whether the player licence is included or purchased separately.
Smartless Player subscriptions cover one device and one connection. The displayed durations are one month for €15, one year for €55 and two years for €85. Installing an application on a second screen does not create another authorised subscription or connection.
Support helps with configuration
Installation assistance means identifying your device, checking the appropriate player and guiding you through the relevant steps. It does not turn an application licence into a television subscription. Tell support what you have already purchased and which parts of the setup currently work.
If you use IBO Player or a similarly named application, start with its exact name and publisher. Depending on the player, device-association information may be needed later. Do not put access links, keys or codes in a public form, review or shared screenshot. Follow the instructions given during your private support conversation.
Check these points before each payment
- Who receives the payment: the player publisher or the service provider?
- Which duration and device does it cover?
- Is another licence or piece of equipment required?
- What information and setup instructions should arrive afterwards?
Keep the payment confirmation and a record of the agreed offer. If the screen says the application licence has expired, first establish what that message refers to. Renewing a television subscription may not fix an expired player licence, and renewing the player may not renew your television access.
If you paid but still have no picture
Write down the exact error, device model and application name. Avoid buying the same product again immediately. Read the player information or the IBO Player guide, then contact support. Those details help distinguish a licence issue from a configuration or service-access problem.
