Android TV and Google TV offer applications designed for a remote control. An Android phone and an Android television do not necessarily support the same version of a player.
Before you begin
Have your full device model and country ready. Confirm that the player supports the access format supplied with your order. Application availability and licence costs can vary by version and store region.
Set up your Android TV / Google TV
- Check that the device runs Android TV or Google TV rather than a generic mobile Android interface.
- Open Apps or the television Play Store and search for the recommended application.
- Install the television version, open it and test navigation with your remote.
Configure your assigned access
Use the connection method confirmed by support. Keep your playlist link and credentials private. If your IBO Player version requires a device identifier and key, we explain what to share privately before helping add the authorised playlist.
Test before settling in
Open an included programme, check picture, sound and navigation, then close and reopen the player to check that the configuration is saved. Ask support about any missing programme rather than buying another activation.
One device, one connection
Do not use the same subscription link on two devices: access can be blocked. Ask support before moving your setup to a replacement device. This rule is separate from whether your internet provider changes your public IP address.
A player appearing in the Play Store on your phone does not guarantee that it is available on your television.
