Find a channel quickly with search, country filters and favourites

Use channel names, country filters and content categories to find programmes more easily and create a practical favourites list in your player.

A large catalogue is only useful when you can find what interests you. You do not need to open every category. A short search, an appropriate filter and a small favourites list can make everyday viewing much easier.

Start with the content type

A live channel, a film and a series call for different searches. First choose the content type in the catalogue. For live television, search for the channel name. For a film or series, try a distinctive word from the title.

The website catalogue lets you inspect references in the inventory. It is not a video player and does not contain your personal viewing access. Finding a programme later inside your application depends on the player and the list configured there. Names and menu arrangements may look different from the website.

Try a short name before adding detail

Begin with the main name without adding picture-quality labels or numbers unless they are essential. Listings can contain abbreviations or naming variations. A very specific search may therefore hide a useful match.

If several references appear, compare their names and groups. A quality label in a listing does not guarantee that your device will display that quality continuously. Your screen, connection and the service also affect the result. If two listings are difficult to distinguish, ask about the precise programme you want to watch.

Use country filters as a browsing aid

A country filter reduces the number of results. It is useful when you are looking for channels from a particular region or in a familiar language. If a search finds nothing, check the active filter before assuming the programme is missing.

The categories reflect the organisation of the inventory. A displayed country is not necessarily a film’s production country or the territory where a programme may be offered. Ask for confirmation for your country of use when a specific channel or programme is important to your decision.

What to do when there are no results

Work through these steps:

  1. Check that channels, films or series is selected correctly.
  2. Shorten your search to one or two distinctive words.
  3. Remove an overly specific category and check the selected country.
  4. Try another spelling or the title used in another language.
  5. Send the exact name to support if you still cannot identify it.

You do not need to share your playlist link to ask about a programme. Its name and your country of use are enough to start the conversation. If you attach a screenshot, hide any account information first.

Create favourites around your actual habits

Inside your player, if the feature is available, add only the channels you watch regularly. A short favourites list is usually easier to use than a copy of the entire catalogue. You can expand it later as your viewing habits develop.

For a family member who is learning, demonstrate how to open favourites, change channels and return to the home screen. Those three actions can make daily use much simpler. Read the getting-started guide or contact us if you would like help finding these controls in your application.
